I love life and universe. I believe I'm able to communicate to everyone. As an Iranian storyteller, only life's energy is enough to bring creativity in ideas.
Photography is my main tool, but thinking outside the box is the key for creation. And CultureLink is a hub for this. Not only communication is the core value, but also connecting the right people is.
Architecture, photojournalism, museum work, living in chaos, and losing many comfort zones taught me life's simplicity. I love to communicate through art and culture.
Inspiration matters. CultureLink is where that happens — as an Olympian artist, I combine creativity with discipline to get the best out of anything I touch.
I was born in Sarajevo, host of the 1984 Winter Olympics, and for several years my home address was Olympic Street 15, in the Olympic village. Today I live in Lausanne, the Olympic capital. It is all about the energy.
I understood that the moment I crossed the finish line as a decathlete at the Beijing Olympics. I wish I could give you that exact feeling: lying down on the track beside the other athletes, looking up at a hundred thousand people in the stadium, and thinking to myself — wow, I made it all the way here.
Trusting the process — and falling in love with it, sometimes beyond logic — is what it takes to reach our wildest dreams.
An open call turns a theme into a public invitation. Anyone concerned by it can answer — a class, a club, a family, someone who has never shown their work anywhere.
We design and run the whole thing end to end: the brief, the submission platform, the jury and its criteria, the exhibition of the selected works, and the press around it. Institutions come to us because an open call reaches people who would never walk through their door on their own — and because someone has to hold all of it together for months.
What stays afterwards is not a campaign that stops. It is a body of work, a public that took part in making it, and a reason for them to come back.
A workshop is where an idea stops being a message and becomes something people make with their hands.
We build them around your core values and around the people in the room — schools, museums, federations, companies. A few hours or several days, ten participants or several hundred. They almost always end in one collective work: a piece nobody in the room could have made alone, and that stays once everyone has left.
CultureLink is a recognised training provider for the Département de l'instruction publique of Canton Geneva, so sessions built for teachers count towards their continuing education.
Sometimes what is missing is not an event. It is clarity.
We work with organisations and individuals to find their communication solution, starting from their core values rather than from a format. What do you actually stand for, who are you speaking to, and what is the honest way to say it — in words, in images, and in what you choose to do in public.
That includes the everyday places you show up: your Instagram, your website, your newsletter, the way a post sounds and looks. We help you decide how you want to appear online and then hold that line — a feed that looks like you, captions that sound like you, and images that belong together instead of pulling in five directions.
It can stop at a strategy, or it can become the programs and the images we produce ourselves. Both are fine.

Several of our programs produce artworks made together with participants. Those works stay collective: they are documented and shown with the agreement of the people who made them, and are never licensed on separately.
